Nissan Sunny unveiled in India.



Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has unveiled its new car, Nissan Sunny in India. Nissan Sunny will be available in India in October to coincide during the festive season of Diwali. Nissan Sunny will compete with Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Swift Dzire, Tata Indigo Manza and Ford Fiesta.
Nissan Sunny  will be available in both petrol and diesel variant in India and it will be manufactured at the Renault Nissan Orgadam facility in Chennai. Nissan Sunny is expected to be powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine and the same capacity 1.5 litre diesel engine. Both the versions will be available in 5 speed manual gearbox.

    I am here to discuss a hot news for car lovers as Renault India has announced that it is going to work with Nissan on the development of a global low cost small car. This car codenamed as i2 would be set to contend against the likes of the segment leading Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon hatchbacks. Renault India is also looking at the export opportunities for i2 as the plant of Renault-Nissan in Oragadam near Chennai exports lot more cars that it sells in the domestic car market of India. Gerard Detourbet, the appluaded engineer known for the frugality of his designed cars will be taking the charge for the development of i2. Among other big plans of Renault India, the 5-seater Duster SUV is all set for launch in upcoming months and is expected to be tagged in the price bracket of Rs. 8-10 lakh.
