Maruti is planning to introduce its famous model of the European market- Maruti Jimny in India also.  This is an SUV model of Maruti.  This is the model of Maruti which is the toppest selling 4 wheel drive in the world.  The price of the vehicle may be from Rs. 6 Lakhs to 8 Laksh ex show room.  

Petrol and diesel variants will also be available.  The European Jimny is having 2 doors and having a capacity for seating of 4 people.  But when it will come to India this will change.  It will have 4 doors and seating capacity will be of 7 passengers.  Youngsters will like this model  as it is having 4 wheel drive and specially provided brakes.  In the top moels all most all the security features will be available.  Mileage is said to be 14 Km to 19 Km.  Engine 1.3 Petrol and 1.5 diesel.  Maximum speed 135 Kms.  MP3 Music system,  large seatings, Luggage space can be increased by folding back seats. It is heard that this Jimny  will be  available in India during the mid 2012.
